FAQ

Questions from fire brigades

Can't find your question? Check the documentation or write to us.

Can several equipment officers inspect at the same time?

Yes. Everyone works in the same account with the same data, each with their own login. Every inspection is assigned to the inspector who carried it out.

Can we map the load per vehicle?

Yes. Create a folder for each vehicle and, if needed, subfolders for compartments or equipment rooms. The folder always shows the state of its contents.

Does every member see their own equipment?

Yes, if you set it up that way: with folder permissions a member only sees the folder with their personal protective equipment.

How much does APPEC cost for a fire brigade?

You only pay per article: a brigade with up to 500 articles pays €10 per month, with up to 1,000 articles €20 (billed annually, excl. VAT). Members are unlimited.

Does APPEC replace the inspection by a competent person?

No. APPEC digitises the documentation: the app shows what is due, provides the inspection questions and stores the result. The inspection itself and the decision on further use are made by the responsible person – according to the manufacturer's instructions and the regulations in your country.
